Mudita Magazine

I have such an ambivalence relationship with Instagram. On the one hand I can feel super frustrated because of fake people’s fake beauty standards, but on the other hand I feel very thankful for the app, because I have met amazing folks through it.

One of them is Emily Porter, who is a film photographer, yoga teacher and co-founder of Mudita Magazine. I love her work, the intimacy and femininity of it, her portraits are very raw and powerful, I feel them very close to myself.

So I’ve been admiring her photography for a while now, and I was very excited, when she asked me to submit some of my photos for Mudita Magazine - which I did.

About Mudita:

Mudita is a Sanskrit word for taking delight in the happiness of others. The magazine ‘is a women-owned publication that focuses on self-care practices, mental health, physical wellness, yoga, sustainable living, healthy recipes, and artwork from artists across the globe.’

And I’m so happy and proud that I could be a part of this lovely undertaking, because unfortunately the magazine has been closed after the Summer issue.

But I still reccomend, to purchase all of the issues, because they are full of amazing content and artwork.
